At this year’s AES, producer and engineer Seigen Ono will demonstrate some of the amazing features of Aural Sonic including:

1. Simple solution for flutter echo and unwanted reflections off of walls.
2. Easy set up as a vocal booth, amplifier box, and portable gobo panel.
3. Changing the polar pattern of microphones on the spot using double-sided panels.
4. Easily quieting computers, hard drives and other unwanted noises.

About Aural Sonic
Aural Sonic sound panels are based on a new Japanese technology that helps enhance
acoustics inside a room. When a particular sound (tone) is heard, many frequencies are also heard besides the dominant frequency intended to be heard. Aural Sonic is able to suppress unwanted partial frequencies, giving richness and clarity to the sound. Aural Sonic also has absorption capabilities more superior than other absorbers at the same thickness. This makes it a great solution for any recording or listening environment.

About Seigen Ono

Seigen Ono is a composer, recording engineer and architectural acoustics designer. During his 30 year career, he has worked with renowned artists such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Sadao Watanabe, John Zorn, and Miles Davis. His unique style of recording using Sampling Reverb added into the venue, DSD (64fs/128fs multi-channel) recorders, and a multi-surround channel with height, has attracted many musicians.

Aural Sonic will be attending the upcoming AES show at the San Francisco Moscone Center. At the show floor, we will have demonstrations to show Aural Sonic’s absorption capabilities. You will also have a chance to check out some of our products including the portable studio panel and the mobile phone booth.
